As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The paper covers the latest thinking in some of the areas: Quality 4.0, Quality by Design, Quality by Innovation, Quality by Sustainability, Quality Engineering, Quality Management, Quality of Life, Strategic Quality Management, Management of Technology, and Innovation.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word QIP template.
  • Where available, URLs and DOI for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Submitting and Copyright section of About/Submission.
  • A Cover letter is prepared with information: names of authors, their affiliations, and the ORCID number for the corresponding author.

Manuscript requirement

Please prepare your manuscript before submission using the QIP template (ver. 2023) with the following paper classification:

  • Research paper
  • Viewpoint
  • Technical paper
  • Conceptual paper
  • Case study
  • Literature review
  • General review

The paper should be written in British English, a maximum of 15 pages. The first page must contain structured abstracts, paper categories, a maximum of 5 keywords separated by a semicolon, and research areas. The research methodology should be clearly described under a separate heading. The information about the author, 50 words maximum and ORCID iD should be given at the end of the article, and the author’s photograph can be enclosed too.

 

References

References to other publications must be in Harvard style and carefully checked for completeness, accuracy and consistency. It is recommended to use http://libweb.anglia.ac.uk/referencing/harvard.htm. They should contain full bibliographical details. The relevant works that are referred to in the text must be consistently quoted and included in the bibliography using Endnote or MS Word-based common citation formats. With all figures borrowed from other authors, the author’s names should be listed in figure legends.

Submitting

Only the originals that have not been submitted for publication can be accepted. The author guarantees the originality of the paper. Authors submitting papers for publication warrant that the work is not an infringement of any existing copyright and will indemnify the publisher against any breach of such warranty by the statement.

Review process

In the double-blind review process information which identifies the authors is removed from the paper, and it is sent to at least two reviewers and one member of editorial board.

Criteria for reviewing

Problematic recency from theoretic and practice view. Solution originality and addition to theory and praxis. Knot to contemporary world literature. Reasoning competence and accuracy with its evidence support. Paper structure in terms of chapter segmentation and reference between them. Summary clarity and convincingness.

Final submission

The manuscript will be considered to be the definitive version of the paper. The author must ensure that it is complete, grammatically correct and without spelling or typographical errors. Before submitting, authors should check their submission completeness using the available Article Submission Checklist.
